3677321 - How to change/edit posting period variant name in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

There is the need to change/edit posting period variant name (for example if it's wrongly configured) in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

However, posting period variant name can't be changed in apps such as Manage Posting Periods or Manage Posting Period Variants.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access SSCUI 101018 Define Variants for Open Posting Periods in the system.
2. Enter Change mode.
3. Update the name value of the corresponding posting period variant.
4. Save the changes.
5. See that name is updated correctly in apps such as Manage Posting Periods or Manage Posting Period Variants.
