3677352 - Error "There was an error processing your request" when saving comment in performance form

• When saving a specific comment in a performance form, an error occurs and can not proceed further.
• Error message displayed: “There was an error processing your request. Please contact support. Error Code: xxxxxxxxxxxx”

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Open a performance form and enter comment containing "Sleep ()" with a number inside the parentheses, for example, "Sleep (2000)".
2. Save the form.
3. Error occurs:  “There was an error processing your request. Please contact support. Error Code: xxxxxxxxxxxx”

The error occurs due to the inclusion of the JavaScript command "Sleep()" within the comment being entered. When a numeric value is included in the parentheses, the system mistakenly interprets this as a command to pause processing, resulting in the error.

• Add alphabetic characters before the number in the parentheses, such as "Sleep (FY2000)". This adjustment prevents the system from misinterpreting the input and allows the comment to be saved successfully.
• Alternatively, enable the latest experience of Performance Management forms in the tool "Performance Management Feature Setting".
