3677489 - Deduction field displays Days/Hours instead of Weeks in Absence UI - 2H 2025

Symptom

  • Time Account Type is configured with Unit Weeks.
  • Duration Display According To is set to Deduction Quantity.
  • Deduction field displays in Days/Hours instead of Weeks upon absence creation. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Time Off

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure a Time Account Type with unit set to Weeks.
  2. Enable the Deduction field.
  3. Create an absence request in the Absence UI.
  4. Observe that the Deduction field displays in unit Days/Hours instead of Weeks.

Resolution

The defect will be fixed via patch PTCH-48267 (2H 2025 P4), which is scheduled for 11th Nov 2025 in Preview environments.
