SAP Knowledge Base Article - Preview

3677509 - SWPM shows “Oracle database software is not yet installed” even though Oracle Database 19c installation is completed successfully.

Symptom

During SAP installation with SWPM, the following message appears even though Oracle Database 19c has been successfully installed:

The Oracle database software is not yet installed.

SOLUTION: Install the Oracle database software using the RUNINSTALLER.

In the sapinst_dev.log, following entries exist such as:

WARNING: file not found: /oracle/<SID>/19/bin/sqlplus

WARNING: file not found: /oracle/<SID>/19/bin/oracle
