3677748 - User Photo Missing on Proxy Search After H2 2025 Release

Symptom

  • When proxying into another user’s account, the user photo is not displayed on proxy search.
  • If the user refreshes the page or modifies the search field, the photo appears.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite - 2H 2025

Reproducing the Issue

  1. On the home page, click on your profile picture icon
  2. Select Proxy Now
  3. In the proxy search field, type the target user’s name
    • Notice that instead of the profile photo, a blue placeholder icon is displayed
  4. Remove or add a character in the search field
    • he profile photo is then displayed correctly

Resolution

The issue is planned to be corrected in the 1H 2026 release, which is scheduled for April 13 for preview and May 15 - 16 for production instances.
