3677881 - Status of Bank Message isn't Changing Even After Reprocessed

The status in Bank Messages status is not updated after reprocessing the bank statement.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition 

1. The bank statement was successfully reprocessed and is visible in the "Manage Bank Statement" application.
2. Despite this, the status for the same statement in the "Bank Messages" application has not been updated.
3. The incorrect status displayed in "Bank Messages" is "Processing Started (IBC98)", even after the successful completion of the reprocessing.

The status "Processing started" is set when an asynchronous processing step (in this case a statement processing job) is planned and triggered. MBC Connector is then waiting for a short moment of time for the job to finish. But when the job takes too long MBC Connector stops the tracking of the job and continues with processing of other messages that might have been received in the same pull. If this happens the message stays in status "Processing started" even once the job has finished.

Standard system design. To update the status of the step and the message it's possible to display the list of processing steps using the button "Display Processing Steps" in Fiori app Manage Bank Messages. There select the pending step and click the button "Update Pending Steps". The system will then try to read the status of the related job and update the step status accordingly.
