Symptom
- While running a report in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), the measures fail to load, and the report displays a "Hierarchy doesn't exist" error.
- The report fails to load the measures due to a missing hierarchy, even though the hierarchy value is present in the backend DSP model's view output.
Environment
- SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)
Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to the DSP QA environment using the provided credentials.
- Log in to the SAC tenant with the support user credentials.
- Open the impacted story in edit mode.
- Navigate to Page 2, and open the right-side builder panel.
- Click on "xxx" in the center of the table.
- In the right-side builder panel, go under "Rows" on "xxx" and click on "Manage Filters".
- Observe the error: Dimension attribute referenced in view is not defined: Hierarchy path attribute '[xxx].path' may only be requested for hierarchical dimensions.
Cause
