• Is it possible to show a Decline button instead of a Send Back button in the Workflow Details page when the Pending Data on the object configuration is set to Yes?

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

As of the 2H 2025 Release, it is now possible to directly decline MDF workflow requests for MDF objects with 'Pending Data' set to Yes. This eliminates the extra step of sending back for revisions and then withdrawing. To make the decline option visible in the Workflow Details page, follow these steps:

1. Go to Manage Data.
2. In the first dropdown menu, select Object Configuration.
3. In the second dropdown menu, select the desired object.
4. Click on Take Action.
5. In the Workflow Approval Behavior dropdown, select Show Decline Option.
   
   
6. Click on Save.

If the desired object is not listed in the second drop down, use the Create New option to create a new record for Object Configuration and choose the relevant object type.
