Symptom
- Quick action card text is truncated with ellipsis in Japanese locale after 2H 2025 release.
- Cards such as "Clock my time", "View My profile", "View Pending requests" display incomplete text in Japanese locale.
- In previous version, the text was displayed normally without truncation.

Reproducing the Issue
- Log in to the 2H 2025 instance and switch the locale to Japanese.
- Navigate to the homepage.
- Observe that some quick action cards, such as "Clock my time", "View My profile", and "View Pending requests", display truncated text in Japanese locale.
- Compare the same cards in the 1H 2025 instance, where the text is displayed normally.
Cause
- The issue occurred due to a change implemented during the update from b2505 to b2511. The modification was made for localization purposes to prevent incorrect line breaks in certain languages, such as Korean, where wrapping characters in the middle of a word altered the meaning of the word.
Resolution
- Engineering team has confirmed that it is a design change in 2H 2025 release.
- It is implemented to fix the issue that in Korean or Latin Language, words are separated unexpectedly causing confusion.
