3678156 - Cost center not assigned error encountered during commercial project migration in S/4HANA Public Cloud

Symptom

The error message "/CPD/SS_MESSAGES 137: Cost center ABC is not assigned to service org XYZ." occurs during the migration of commercial project in the 'Migrate your data' app.

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to migrate a commercial project using the app 'Migrate your data'.
  2. Observe the error message "/CPD/SS_MESSAGES 137: Cost center ABC is not assigned to service org XYZ".

Resolution

To resolve the issue:

  1. Assign the cost center ABC to the service organization XYZ by navigating to the service organization XYZ in the app 'Manage Service Organizations'.
  2. Try migrating the commercial project after assignment.
