3678304 - How do I post a cXML invoice with attachment to the Ariba Invoicing application?

I am unable to post a cXML invoice directly via HTTP into the Ariba Invoicing/Buying and Invoicing application. Either the response is Internal Server Error or the invoice gets created without attachment.
