3678342 - Message not appearing fully on Personal Information Portlet.

Symptom

When saving Personal Information. Previously, the full message appeared upon saving. Now, only a truncated version is shown with “More” and “Less” links.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance.
  2. Navigate to any employee’s profile.
  3. Edit the Personal Information Portlet.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Observe the warning message pop-up with a “More” link instead of the full message.

Resolution

  • This is expected behavior from 2H 2025 release.
  • If the message content exceeds the display area, a scrollbar will appear, allowing the user to view the full text. The user may then select “Less” to collapse the message viewer again.
