3678397 - Error: "Item invalid; product/identified stock/logistics unit mismatch" during physical inventory count task confirmation

• Error message: "Error Item invalid; product/identified stock/logistics unit mismatch" appears when attempting to confirm Physical Inventory count task via Excel upload.
• Blank rows are created automatically in the Physical Inventory count task without any product or logistics area information.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the Physical Inventory work center.
2. Select the Task Control view.
3. Search for the required Task ID.
4. Choose "Confirm with Microsoft Excel" button.
5. Upload the provided Excel file containing one line item.
6. Observe the error message: "Error Item invalid; product/identified stock/logistics unit mismatch".

• The site data for which PI count document is created is missing in the relevant product master data.
• Missing site information in the relevant products master data for line items caused an error message. 

1. Update the master data to include the required site information in the relevant product master data for all line items.
2. Once the master data is corrected, create the Physical Inventory count document and task.
3. Verify that the task is created without blank rows and the error message is resolved.
4. Proceed to confirm the count task via Excel upload.
