3678404 - Error REEXAA024 when attempting to edit transaction values of a legacy asset - SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

• When attempting to edit transaction values of a legacy asset in app 'Post Transfer Values - For Legacy Asset', the system displays the error message: REEXAA024 - Asset &1 is assigned lease &2. Posting not possible.
• The issue prevents manual adjustments or corrections to the legacy asset's initial transaction values.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Access the 'Post Transfer Values - For Legacy Asset' app.
2. Attempt to adjust transaction values for a legacy asset.
3. Observe the error message: REEXAA024 - Asset &1 is assigned lease &2. Posting not possible.

The legacy asset has already been assigned to a lease contract, preventing further adjustment or correction of initial takeover values.

Important note: for a legacy asset which is managed via Contract and Lease Management contracts, the app 'Post Transfer Values - For Legacy Asset' should only be used to maintain initial values at asset takeover. Any further changes or adjustments that are relevant after the takeover should be managed via the lease contract itself. Further manual changes performed outside of the lease contract to a Right-of-Use asset is not supported.

In App 'Manage Contract' navigate to the valuation and perform the following:

1. 1. If initial valuation was already posted, reverse the valuation posting.
   2. Delete the last valuation step for the contract and ensure the valuation sheet is empty from entries.
   3. Delete the asset from the valuation rule on sheet 'Valuation parameters'
   4. Conduct the necessary modifications to the asset's transaction values.
   5. Re-add the asset to the lease contract, validate if contract conditions need to be adjusted and perform the initial valuation again.
