3678420 - Attachments transferred via CPI from RCM to EC not visible in Employee Profile

Symptom

  • Attachments transferred via CPI from RCM to EC are not visible in the Employee Profile, even though the scheduled job completes successfully. 
  • Manual uploads work fine. 

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central 
  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for affected user.
  2. Navigate to Employee Profile > Affected background element.
  3. No attachment is displayed, despite successful CPI transfer 
  4. Save action does not trigger error, even though attachment is mandatory

Cause

Product Engineering is investigating a solution.

Resolution

The issue will be fixed via patch PTCH-48730 (2H2025 P8) which is scheduled for 9th Dec in Preview and 11th Dec in Production environment.
