3678422 - Prompt value from URL parameter not populated in SAP Analytics Cloud story

Symptom

When opening a story via URL parameters the prompt value defined in the URL is not applied.

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to SAP Analytics Cloud.
  2. Open a story that have prompts with URL parameters as such: https://[tenant-url]/sap/fpa/ui/app.html#/story2&/s2/[STORY_ID]/?mode=view&v01Model=[MODEL]&v01Par=[PROMPT]&v01Val=[VALUE]
  3. Observe that the prompt corresponding to [PROMPT] is not automatically populated with the value defined in [VALUE].

Cause

Works as expected when [PROMPT] is a range.

Resolution

When the [PROMPT] is set to range the [VALUE] should be encoded as such: %5B%START_OF_RANGE..END_OF_RANGE%22%5D
