3678427 - Duplicate Compensation Information error in Manage Pending Hires Tool - SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

• Error for duplicated compensation information while adding an employee from onboarding.
• Error message: "There are duplicate records with the same value for the following fields: Sequence Number, User ID, Compare them and remove the one you don't need."

1. Proxy as the user experiencing the issue.
2. Navigate to Manage Pending Hires.
3. Select the onboarding tab and locate the affected user.
4. Proceed through the hiring process until submission.
5. Encounter the error message regarding duplicate records.

The issue occurs when a person completes New Hire Data Review (NHDR) without Compensation Information (Comp Info) permission, and a new compensation information record is created via rule.

• Provide Compensation Information permission for the employee performing NHDR or accessing New Hire Data.
• Or disable the Compensation Information business rules that are creating pay components and add them manually.
