3678454 - Unable to delete learning history record due to missing delete button in SAP Successfactors Learning

The delete button is not available when attempting to delete a learning history record for a user in 'Edit Learning History'.

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Navigate to LMS administration.
2. Go to Manage User Learning > Edit Learning History.
3. Search for the learning user and locate the history record.
4. Select the 'Edit' button for the history record.
5. Observe that the 'Delete' button is not visible to delete the record.

• The item completion was recorded as a substitute credit from another Learning item.
• The substitute relationship was removed from the item, but the option to 'Keep historical records' was selected.
• When removing a substitute relationship frm an item a pop-up will display with the below message.
  
  
• Selecting 'Keep historical records' means that the substitute learning history will remain in the users learning history.
• The substitute history record cannot be deleted because the substitute item is no longer related.

1. To delete the substitute learning history record, the substitute must be re-added to the item.
2. After adding the substitute to the item, then remove the substitute again.
3. You will be presented with the pop up to remove historical records
4. Select 'Remove historical records'
5. The learning history record will now be removed for the user
