Symptom
- Error 691 encountered when attempting to update a newly modified object to add a new column.
- Stack trace generated during the update operation (due to trigger activation).
- Error message: "Encountered invalid logical page '0' while accessing database 'db (dbid), object 'obj' (objid), index 'ind' (indid), partition 'part' (partid). This is an internal system error. Please contact SAP Technical Support."
- Warning message: "Row size (4832 bytes) could exceed row size limit, which is 1962 bytes."
- The issue has been logged under SAP CR 831418. Its description reads, "Error 691 and stack trace in a trigger execution after adding new column in the table and trigger".
