Symptom

Error "There’s currently no data for you" when accessing Personal Information in Latest People Profile. 

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the instance.
  2. Navigate to an employee’s profile.
  3. Select Personal Information.
  4. Observe the error message: "There’s currently no data for you"

Cause

This could be due to the following reasons:

  • Card is not enabled in configure latest people profile OR
  • Pression is not provided OR
  • User is not fully hired.

Resolution

  • In Configure Latest People Profile > Personal Data, check if the cards are enabled.
  • If enabled, check in Manage Permission role, check if the personal data view permissions are provided to the login user.
  • In Data Inspector > Table_EMP_EMPLOYMENT_INFO > verify whether the user is marked as "Is EC Record" OR "Is Contingent Worker" (i.e value is shown as 1). If the user is not marked as EC record/Contingent worker, it's expected behaviour that the error is shown in personal information. The is because the user is not fully hired.
