3678797 - AI-assisted successor insights Performance and Key achievement rating explanation

Symptom

Generating Insights for a user in the Succession Org Chart, the performance rating displayed is using the Successors' latest overall performance ratings.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Career & Talent Development

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login to the instance
  2. Navigate to Succession.
  3. Select one user
  4. Click on "Generate Insights".
  5. Observe that for the successors of user, some of the user might have different rating than the last Performance Form rating

Resolution

Successors' latest overall performance ratings can come from the latest Performance Form of the user or it can be also a non-form based rating, like Live Profile rating.

As for different successors, their rating scales can be different. For example, user A has a rating of 2 on a scale 1-5, User B has a rating of  2 on a scale 1-9, so the system normalize and show related rating label.

The rating scale used to normalize performance ratings always comes from Admin Center -> Matrix Grid Rating Scales -> Performance.
