Symptom
In Datasphere Space Management, a user is marked as "Space Administrator", which is unexpected.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental".
Environment
SAP Datasphere
Reproducing the Issue
In Space Management-> Users, some users are marked as "Space Administrator".
Cause
"Space Administrator" green tick appears for each user who has space administration privileges for the space, which includes having the privilege (permission) Scoped Role User Assignment (Manage). See more info in Access the Users Area in Your Space.
Resolution
- In Space Management->Users, check what Scoped roles has been assigned to the user.
- In Security->Roles, search the role in step 1, open the role, for privilege 'Scoped role user assignment', uncheck the 'Manage' permission checkbox.
- Save the role.
- If user is assigned to multiple Scoped Roles in step 1, repeat step 2-3 for all the other Scoped Roles as well. Alternatively, instead of changing existing role, create a new scoped role without 'Manage' permission to privilege 'Scoped role user assignment' and assign to user.
