3678836 - Error "SOAP:1023 SRT: Processing error...SSL handshake...SSSLERR_PEER_CERT_UNTRUSTED (-102)" while submitting PEPPOL eDocument

• When submitting any PEPPOL eDocument, the following error appears in the application log:
  SOAP:1023 SRT: Processing error in Internet Communication Framework: ("SSL handshake with peppol-cf-cust.it-cpi018-rt.cfapps.eu10-003.hana.ondemand.com:443 failed: SSSLERR_PEER_CERT_UNTRUSTED (-102) Peer’s X.509 certificate (chain) validation failed (missing trust?)")
  
• Additional details in the error log may include:
  Failed to verify peer certificate. Peer not trusted.
  SSL_get_state()==0x2131 "TLS read server certificate B"
  ERROR: The verified certificate chain is complete but no certificate is trusted.
  Issuer: CN=DigiCert TLS RSA4096 Root G5, O="DigiCert, Inc.", C=US
• As a result, the eDocument remains in status "Sending Requested" and is not transmitted to the DRC Cloud tenant. 
• This error started occurring from 3rd November 2025 onwards.
