3678944 - Error 'SV019' is encountered during Account Groups - Partner Functions Assignment

• An error occurs when attempting to assign the partner function "SE - Sales Employee" to the customer account group "CUST - Customers" in the SSCUI Activity '101286' Set Up Partner Determination for Customer and Supplier Master.
• The error message displayed is: "Select key from the allowed namespace."

1. Add the partner function "SE - Sales Employee" in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Attempt to assign the partner function to the customer account group "CUST - Customers."
3. Observe the error message: "Select key from the allowed namespace."

The Configurations and customizings are delivered by SAP through SET Content framework in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition systems. Since, the content is owned by SAP and delivered every release, it is not allowed to maintain entries through SSCUIs within SAP namespaces.

Therefore, restrictions are applied and only Z* or Y* entries are allowed.

Create a customer partner function with key beginning with the letters Y or Z and map the same to the relevant account groups.

To create a custom partner function follow either of the below options.

Customer Partner Functions:

1. Go to SSCUI ‘101286’ - Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master.
2. Double click on folder partner functions.
3. Click on ‘New Entries’ button.

Vendor Partner Functions:

1. Go to SSCUI '103129' - Define Partner Roles.
2. Click on 'New Entries'.

Note: The key ZM in the standard system is already assigned to the partner function "Responsible Employee". Hence, it is recommended to avoid this particular key when defining new partner functions.
