3679015 - Error message "Cannot process items with no valid value chain management status" when creating a billing document

When trying to create a billing document using Create Billing Documents app, the following error message is displayed: "Item 10: Cannot process items with no valid value chain management status."

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Go to Create Billing Documents app.  
2. Select the delivery document.
3. Click on "Create Billing Documents".
4. Observe the error message: "Item 10: Cannot process items with no valid value chain management status."

To create an Intercompany Invoice document, the document type must be selected manually. The system does not automatically determine or assign the document type. This is the expected standard system behavior.
