Symptom

Error messages such as:

  • SOAP:1008:SRT: Couldn't create Object: ("ICF Error when creating object for HTTP DESTINATION "<destination>": OA2C_MISSING_AUTHORIZATION")
  • SOAP:1008 SRT: Couldn't create Object: ("ICF Error:  when creating HTTP client object by Config for URL "<url>":  OA2C_MISSING_AUTHORIZATION")

This issue may happen intermittently in, e.g., integration scenarios such as the processing of IDOCs or during RFC connection tests via SM59.
