Symptom
-
The Accounts Payable Aging Report displays grid intervals only up to 90 days.
-
The Accounts Receivable Aging Report allows interval configurations extending up to 360 days and beyond.
-
A requirement exists to extend the aging grid intervals in the Accounts Payable report for consistent aging analysis.
-
The reports are developed using standard CDS views through Custom Analytical Queries
-
The Accounts Payable report remains limited to three Net Due Interval parameters, even after customization.
"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
-
The limitation is due to the design of the standard CDS view C_APJrnlEntrItmAgingGrid, used in the Accounts Payable Aging Report.
-
This CDS view supports only three Net Due Interval input parameters, restricting the report to four aging buckets.
-
The Accounts Receivable Aging Report uses a different CDS view that allows additional overdue interval parameters, enabling aging up to 360 days and beyond.
-
The difference in available interval fields between the two CDS views results in varying flexibility for aging grid configuration.
-
This is a system design restriction in the standard SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition and not a configuration issue.
Resolution
- Currently, there is no alternative released CDS view in the public cloud that provides extended interval flexibility for Accounts Payable aging.
- To request enhancement of this functionality, it is recommended to submit a feature Request via the SAP Customer Influence website.
