3679444 - No inspection lot is generated upon the goods receipt of the purchase order although quality management has been activated for the material

• You have activated quality management for the material.
• When posting the goods receipt for a purchase order, no inspection lot is generated. As a result, the stock is stuck in quality and cannot be processed further.
• When trying to post the material from quality stock to unrestricted use manually in MIGO, get the error message QA495.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

There is no inspection lot generated because inspection type 01 is not activated for the material at the time of the goods receipt.

Make sure that inspection type 01 is activated before the goods receipt.

For the existing stock inconsistency, raise a case to SAP under component QM-IM-2CL to fix the issue.
