3679722 - Approval workflows for sales documents are not triggered if the start conditions include sales document type - for OnPremise/Private Cloud

Symptom

  • In the workflow definition, a start condition such as "Sales order type is" or "Sales document type is" has been maintained and the value for this sales document type is added. Then a sales document gets created or changed while end user logs on system using a language that is different from when defining the workflow. The approval status of the sales document is 'In Approval', but no approval workflow is triggered.
  • For example, logging on in English, sales document types such as CR(credit memo request) are selected when defining a workflow. If an end user now logs on in a language other than English to create a sales document for approval, the workflow condition is not considered. The workflow will therefore not be triggered.
