3679792 - JDMJDM Old to New Sync Job error: "contextError={ java.lang.RuntimeException: Not able to load the related EO for Object Type = CompetencyEntity and internal id = [#] }, formatError={ }"

Symptom

JDM Old to New Sync job fails with the following error message:

"contextError={ java.lang.RuntimeException: Not able to load the related EO for Object Type = CompetencyEntity and internal id = [# }, formatError={ }"

Reproducing the Issue

Run JDM to JPB migration job (JDM Old to New Sync)
Go to Scheduled Job Manager and see that job is completed
Go to details and see that migration failed
Download the error file
The file contains error message: "contextError={ java.lang.RuntimeException: Not able to load the related EO for Object Type = CompetencyEntity and internal id = [#] }, formatError={ }"

Cause

Syncing issue

Resolution

To solve this issue, follow below steps:

Take note of the internalID you see in the error file
Go to Data Inspector tool and choose entity: Table_GENERIC_OBJECT_T
Add filter criteria: Internal ID - equals - add the internalID from the error file
Click Show Data
In the result find the external code and take note of it
Go to Manage Data tool > Competency > add external code in the search > now you have the impacted competency
Go to Center of Capabilities and search for the impacted competency > resave without making any changes
Rerun JDM to JPB migration job (JDM Old to New Sync)
