3679903 - Invalid request error during authenticating the SuccessFactors API call using OIDC in IAS

Symptom

  • Following the instructions provided in the Register Your Own Application to Communicate with SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite with OpenID Connect to set up your application to communicate with SAP SuccessFactors HCM suite using the OpenID Connect (OIDC) authentication protocol. 
  • Error "invalid_request" occurrs and the HTTP status code 400 is returned in the Step 2 of the API testing process.
  • The error message displayed in the HTTP body is: {"error":"invalid_request","error_description":"Invalid request"}.
