3679974 - Custom field values for class not displayed in first search attempt

Custom field values for the class are not displayed during the first search attempt. 

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Access Learning Administration.
2. Navigate to People -> Users -> Search for any user and open it -> Scroll till custom fields.
3. Go to Learning Activities -> Class -> Search for any class and open it -> Look for custom field -> Click and Search -> Only a few custom field values are displayed.
4. Go back and search again for custom fields -> All linked custom field values are displayed.

• This is a Known Issue.
• The issue stems from an incorrect `selectorName` parameter in the dialog URL. When two custom field labels share the same name across different modules, their derived IDs also become identical during rendering. Consequently, the system reuses the old SearchPicker instance, resulting in the parameter value being sourced from the previous module. In this specific case, after navigating from the user details page to the class details page, the `selectorName` parameter continues to reference the value from the user object. As a result, the user custom field is fetched instead of the intended class field. 

The Learning engineering team has addressed the issue by correcting the backend code.

• The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.

Workaround:

• Go back and search again custom fields, this will display all the linked custom field values.
