3680046 - System does not automatically determine batch for goods movement when using Confirm Production Order Operation app or Mass Processing Production Orders app

When making confirmations for production orders in Confirm Production Order Operation app or Mass Processing Production Orders app, the automatic batch determination doesn't happen for the goods movement.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Open the Confirm Production Order Operation app/Mass Processing Production Orders app.

2. Enter the order number and the information to be confirmed.

3. Click on "Goods Movement" button.

4. Notice that the system does not automatically determine the batch for the relevant component.

The system cannot automatically determine batches because the required configuration entry for Stock and Batch Determination for Goods Movement is missing.

In the configuration activity 102817 - Stock and Batch Determination for Goods Movement, add a new entry and maintain relevant information such as plant, order type, etc.
