3680170 - Download Documents generates pdf where field entries are pushed to the next page

Symptom

The downloaded pdf generated has the field entered data split from the field label as in the screenshot below:

In this example, the field label Custom Example Field is causing the break and the response for Candidate Salary is moved to the next page.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

Reproducing the Issue

Navigate to the Recruiting in SAP SuccessFactors.
Select candidates associated with a job requisition.
Select •••.
Select Download Documents.
Choose your options and download the file.
PDF generated has page breaks between field labels and entered field data.

Cause

Issue is caused by field label length adding a page break and pushing entered field data to be pushed down also.

Resolution

Issue is expected due to field label length adding a page break and pushing the entered field data down for the given row.

The pdf is generated as a table for application data and when a field label is too long it adds a page break to the table cell, causing the field response row beneath to be pushed down.

Engineering have confirmed the behaviour.

If you wish to see this behaviour changed please raise an enhancement for the product for customers to add feedback and product management and engineering to gauge customer demand.
