Does E-Ledger Report Turkey supports Extension Ledgers?

There is no legal requirement in Türkiye to support Extension Ledgers for the E-Ledger (E-Defter) reporting.

The Turkish Revenue Administration (GİB) requires companies to generate the E-Ledger (Yevmiye Defteri) based on the official accounting ledger that represents statutory postings, typically the leading ledger (0L) or a non-leading ledger (e.g. 3L) defined as the tax (statutory) ledger in the customer’s accounting setup.

Extension Ledgers are purely an SAP concept and not recognized by GİB. Therefore, they are not legally required or supported for E-Ledger reporting.

If an Extension Ledger has been used, this data is not considered part of the statutory postings to be submitted to the authorities. The Turkish e-Ledger report should therefore only extract data from the ledger representing the statutory accounting view, and not from any Extension Ledger.
