3680383 - Event Reason is set in Rule Trace however does not reflect in UI when performing Hire Date Correction - Employee Central

Requirement to use an unique Event Reason when updating a New Hire Record using Hire Date Correction tool.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central

1. Create a Business Rule using Trigger Event Reason Derivation scenario and assign it in Manage Business Configuration (BCUI);
2. Set up a Rule Trace;
3. Navigate to Hire Date Correction > Create New > Hire Date Correction;
4. Fill in the required fields > Save;
5. HDC is successfully completed and Event Reason is set in Rule Trace, however in UI the old one is still displayed.

Expected behavior.

Change Hire Event/Event Reason is not supported as per system design.
