• Export option in Report Center is producing report files that are not readable offline.
• For Canvas reports, when exporting it's definition, an XML file is generated, when opening it offline it appears it is encrypted and it is not possible to read or perform any changes on it.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite

1. Export any report from the Report Center.

      2. Unable to read contents or decode file.

Report Export option under Report Center is not for offline report reading or major report changes on the definition file, but for report file transferring between SuccessFactors instances.

This is expected behavior as the 'Export' option under Report Center is not for running reports offline, but for extracting the reports file format for transferring to other SuccessFactors instances.

It won't be possible to change the file definition prior to importing it to another instance. If you need to perform changes on the report, it is necessary to make these changes on the report before exporting it.
