3680471 - Delete option available for time events for employees not in the target population

You have set up RBP so that the delete time event permission is restricted to specific employees via target population configuration. 

Then it is noticed, the delete time event button still shows up even for the employees that you are not allowed to delete time events as per target population setting in your RBP role.

• SAP Successfactors Time Tracking - Clock In Clock Out

Currently the display of the delete time event button is not considering the target population configuration in the RBP role.

Even though the delete time event button shows up, it does not really delete the time event even if you click on it. Instead you will get error "Sorry, we are unable to connect to Clock In Clock Out. Please try again later. If the issue persists, please contact your system administrator. ". And after you refresh, the time events come back again. 

So there is no impact on business. Instead it is only a display issue.

A fix for this issue will be released on the 28th of January 2026
