3680519 - Field sequence in Manage Business Configuration not reflected in Latest People Profile Editing UI

Symptom

Field sequence configured in Manage Business Configuration for country specific element is not reflected in the Edit UI when editing the card in Latest People Profile.

Edit UI is still showing the field sequence configured in Configure People Profile (PP3).

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors HCM Suite
  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Configure fields for a global or country specific element on Manage Business Configuration in the desired order.



  2. Go to Full Profile
  3. On the configured category (example: Personal Information)
  4. Click on Add in the element card (example: Addresses)



  5. Select the effective date on 'When should these changes take effect?'



  6. Notice that the sequence of fields are not reflecting the configured sequence in the Data Model/Manage Business Configuration.



Cause

The setting "Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile (Except Compensation Information)" is not enabled in Configure Latest People Profile > General Settings.

Resolution

If the setting 'Enable the latest Editing and History UI for Employee Central HRIS entities on Full Profile (Except Compensation Information)' is not enabled in Configure Latest People Profile > General Settings, the Edit UI will still respect the order of the fields configured on the legacy Configure People Profile.
