3680539 - DB6: FCO-00011 error with db2prereqcheck during ERP 6.0 EHP8 installation on SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 15

• During the ERP 6.0 EHP8 installation using the System Provisioning Manager (SWPM), the installation fails with the following error:

  The step CallDB2prereqcheck with step key |NW_ABAP_OneHost|ind|ind|ind|ind|0|0|NW_Onehost_System|ind|ind|ind|ind|onehost|0|NW_CreateDBandLoad|ind|ind|ind|ind|createdbandload|0|NW_CreateDB|ind|ind|ind|ind|createdb|0|NW_DB6_DB|ind|ind|ind|ind|db6|0|CallDB2prereqcheck was executed with status ERROR (Last error reported by the step: Execution of the command "xxxx/51055306/LINUXX86_64/ESE/disk1/db2prereqcheck -o xxxxxx/DB6/INSTALL/STD/ABAP/db2prereqcheck.out -i -v 11.5.7.0" finished with status TST_ERROR)."  

• Manual execution of the command on OS level also fails with "Segmentation fault (core dumped)."
  
  
• The /var/log/messages file contains the following error:
  "db2prereqcheck_[xxx]: segfault at 0 ip xxxx sp xxxx error 4 in libc-2.31.so[xxx+xxx]"
