Symptom
- The system is unable to determine the Purchase Order (PO) form correctly while configuring the PO output form for "Before release" and "After release".
- The "Release Condition" is not available in Output Parameter Determination (OPD), which prevents defining two forms (one for "Before PO release" and another for "After release").
Environment
SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition
Cause
Missing feature.
Resolution
In SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, the Output Parameter Determination (OPD) framework does not allow defining different output forms based on the Purchase Order release status (before vs. after release).
The output is only triggered after the Purchase Order is released, as per standard system behavior. If you’d like to preview the form before release, you can use the “Print Preview” function in the Manage Purchase Orders app.
Since this functionality is not available in the standard, you may consider submitting it as a Feature Request through the SAP Influence Portal, This allows the product developers to review your input and consider it for future updates or enhancements.
