Symptom

  • When executing a job in Data Services Management Console, the following error is being raised:

    "WARNING: Cannot establish database connection.

    ODBC call <SQLDriverConnect> to connect database <> failed with error: [xyz][client_library][database_odbc] General error;10 authentication failed. Use the ODBCDriverSelector (Windows) or DSConnectionManager.sh (UNIX) utility in LINK_DIR/bin to configure the correct version of the driver. If the problem still exists after selecting the correct version of the driver, notify Customer Support."
