Although Step Exit Reminder is disabled, the reminder text still shows when Latest Form Experience is enabled.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Configure step exit reminder for a step and then disable the reminder.
2. Turn on latest form experience and send form to the next step: reminder text displays in the popup.
3. Turn off latest form experience and send form to the next step: reminder text does not display.

This is a Known Issue.

The fix for this issue is planned to be deployed on 1H 2026 release.

Workaround

1. In the Route map settings, enable the Step Exit Reminder, and clear all content in RTE.
2. disable the Step Exit Reminder
3. save the changes in the route map.

For live forms, please follow the above to change and apply it through Modify Form Route Map tool.
