3680664 - Application Error When Navigating Between Candidates in Latest Applicant Workbench - Recruiting Management

• Application error occurs when trying to navigating between multiple candidates using the New Applicant Management Experience.
• The error happens when viewing several candidates consecutively - moving one candidate to a different status, and clicking on the next candidate.

Sample error messages:

• internalMessage=Failed to GET "Resume and Documents" metadata.
• errorMessage=Required request parameter 'candidateType' for method parameter type CandidateType is not present

or

• internalMessage=Failed to GET "" data.
• errorMessage=Internal error
• name=Error
• code=InternalError

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. View a job application using Latest Applicant Workbench.
2. Click Move.
3. Move the candidate to any other status.
4. Click on the next candidate from the list on the left-hand side before the page finishes loading.
5. Observe an application error.

Workaround

• Users can view the candidate after refreshing the page.
• Wait for the page to fully refresh before proceeding to view the next job application.
• Using the directional buttons (< >) in the right corner instead of clicking on the candidate list prevents the error.
