3680922 - Display Name Format Issue in SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

Some users do not follow the general display name format assigned to the legal entity they belong to.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Go to the profile of a user.
2. General display format is [business first name] + [business last name].
3. However, in People Profile header (displayName), it shows [first name] + [middle name] + [last name].

Name format associated with the primaryAssignment is used for all the other employments. If the GA is future dated (not active yet) then homeAssignment will be the primaryAssignment. If the GA is active, then it will be the primaryAssignment. 

Currently, if you have not selected a name format in Configure People Profile, so the system displays the default format.

To apply a custom name format:

1. Select a custom value in the Name Format dropdown in Configure People Profile and save.
2. Click Refresh General Display Name in Company Settings.
3. After the job completes, the display name will reflect the new format.
