3681039 - Returns are ignored in unified demand forecast modeling and forecasting

Symptom

  • Sales return transactions in the Unified Demand Forecast (UDF) module are automatically ignored during modeling and are not considered representative of demand history.
  • Example: Original sales transaction for Product A and store S is 10 Qty, reversal return transaction for Product A and store S is 10 Qty, corrected sales transaction for Product A and store S is 10 Qty. UDF considers 20 Qty (Original + Corrected) instead of adjusting the original record with the reversal record.
