3681125 - user automatically follows quotes

A user is automatically following a number of quotes, visible in the "Following" tab of their employee profile. However the user did not manually subscribe.

SAP Cloud for Customer

1. Click on the user menu in the top right corner.
2. Click on the user name.
3. Go to the "Following" tab.
4. Filter for quotes.
5. Observe that there is a high number of quotes.

For some objects like Lead, quotes, Sales Orders, the system is designed to automatically follow these objects if the user is involved in a transaction of the object. If the user is assigned as the owner or involved in any transaction related to a sales quote, they automatically follow it.

1. You can consider disabling the follow altogether by going to the user menu > Settings > Company Settings > select "Disable Follow". 
2. You can review the change log of the quotes to confirm if the user was involved in any transactions related to the quotes.
3. If the user does not wish to follow these quotes, they can manually unsubscribe from them.
