3681169 - WT&A Data Purge Functionality Overview

The WT&A system has functionality to purge specific data after a specified number of days. More detail about these settings and how the process works can be found in How to Configure Data Retention Features. Below is a very high level summary.

WARNING: This is not data archiving. Data is completely deleted from the database. Recovery will not be possible at this point. Do not turn this on in PROD unless absolutely certain this is desired functionality. Additionally, this is not a replacement for the full truncate process, such as before Go Live, as this only deletes from a limited number of tables.

Currently there is purging of Employee and Time Sheet Data and of Absence Cases.
