3681246 - App 'Material Document Overview' does not display all plants

Symptom

  • Material Document Overview does not display all the plants in the system.
  • Plant value help in Material Document Overview lists fewer plants compared to MB51.

Environment

  • SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open the app "Material Document Overview".
  2. Select "Plant" in the value help.
  3. Observe that not all plants are listed in the value help.

Cause

  • If there is no material document (MATDOC entry) posted in relation to a plant, it will be missing in the value help.

Resolution

  1. Post a goods movement for a material in the plant in question.
  2. Verify that the plant is now available and listed within the plant value help in the app "Material Document Overview".
