3681306 - Discrepancy in displayed values between "monitor purchase order item" app and "commitment by cost center" report in sap s/4hana cloud public edition

Different value shown between app "Monitor Purchase Order Item" and app "Commitment By Cost Center".

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

1. Create a purchase order linked to a cost center in SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.
2. Execute the "Monitor Purchase Order Item" app for the purchase order in INR currency.
3. Observe the total amount displayed for all items in the "Monitor Purchase Order Item" app.
4. Check the cost center commitment for the same purchase order using the "Commitment by Cost Center" report in INR currency.
5. Observe the discrepancy in the displayed amounts between the two reports.

• The "Monitor Purchase Order Item" app uses the foreign exchange rate from app Currency Exchange Rates  with the PurchaseOrderDate.
• In all Purchasing analytical apps, exchange rate type 'M' is used. The exchange rate from the PO (even if the fixed indicator is set) is not taken into account.

1. Verify the exchange rates applied in app Currency Exchange Rates  for the PurchaseOrderDate and Posting date.
2. Confirm the exchange rate type 'M' is being used in all Purchasing analytical apps.
